"Game of Thrones" In the premiere of this adaptation of author George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" medieval fantasies, King Robert Baratheon journeys north to offer Lord Ned Stark an important position in his court after the death of a trusted mentor. Meanwhile, the exiled Prince Viserys Targaryen uses his sister, Daenerys, as a pawn in his plot to return to power. Sunday at 9 on HBO.

"TV Land Awards" Honorees for the ninth annual ceremony, which recognizes revered shows and stars from TV's past, include Regis Philbin (Legend Award); "Family Ties" (Fan Favorite Award); "The Cosby Show" (Impact Award); and "The Facts of Life" (Pop Culture Award). "Breaking In" In the premiere of this comedy about a high-tech security firm that protects clients by exposing their vulnerabilities, Contra boss Oz (Christian Slater) blackmails a perpetual college student-cum-computer hacker (Bret Harrison) to be his intern, but the newcomer is out of his league when he's tasked with stealing an expensive car from a dealer, and adjusting to an office full of eccentrics doesn't make life any easier. Adam Sandler is an executive producer. Wednesday at 9:30 on Fox.

"The Big Bang Theory" Sheldon and Amy spread gossip as part of an experiment; and Howard and Bernadette's relationship gets serious. Physicist Brian Greene has a cameo. Thursday at 8 on CBS.

"Merlin" Conclusion. The Season 3 finale finds Camelot crumbling under the control of Queen Morgana and Morgause's immortal army. While Arthur, Lancelot, Elyan and Percival prepare a counterattack, Merlin rushes to retrieve the Excalibur sword from the Lake of Avalon. Friday at 10 on Syfy.

"Camelot" A historical drama chronicling the Arthurian legend. "Parks and Recreation" The fate of the Parks Department rests on the success of the Harvest Festival, which is plagued by last-minute problems, including a Wamapoke tribal leader who threatens to put a curse on the event. Thursday at 9:30 on NBC.
