WTF?!

I need to set up a Google account to keep this blog running?! Nice, BlogSpot. Real nice. I don't want a second account. What type of viruses might I get? I may have been thick-headed enough to keep this blog running, but why not? I like blogging. I just don't want a freaking second account for this. If I get some new virus, somebody's gonna pay.

No Way Out results

Son of a bitch! I went 3-5 for No Way Out! Bobby Lashley, Deuce & Domino, King Booker, Gregory Helms, and Maria (had to change from Jillian before it was too late), a curse upon you. John Cena & Shawn Michaels; Chris Benoit, Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy; and Finlay & Little Bastard, thanks for keeping this PPV from turning into a complete disaster. Record currently stands at 73-71, so not all is lost.

Home field advantage: The end-all, cure-all answer

It can't be much more simple than that. Well, maybe it can. You can stop airing All-Star games on Versus and TNT for starters. Seriously, the NHL and NBA should at least consider using home ice/court advantage to the team that's from conference that wins the All-Star game. It's worked wonders for Major League Baseball. Their All-Star game ratings have vastly improved since they adopted the home-field advantage for the World Series concept. If the NHL and NBA want to keep pace, they should try these formats out. Granted, I'm still watching the NBA All-Star Game in three minutes, but they should look at that as an option. And if you want me to talk about the Pro Bowl, forget. The Super Bowl is at a neutral site. Besides, I gave up on the Pro Bowl a long time ago.

I forgot Marissa Miller?!

Thanks for the reminder, Butch. Better give the people what they want, eh?

Hell, I'm feeling generous today. Why not put this in, as well?

See? I'm a nice guy. By the way, I'm not one who agrees with insider trading, but I think it's a safe bet Apple stocks will be up 25% this week. Now if you excuse me, I need to run from the SEC.

-Kane vs. King Booker

-WWE U.S. Champion Chris Benoit & The Hardys vs. MNM & MVP

-Diva Talent Invitational

-The Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman vs. Finlay & Little Bastard

Well, this is going to be a make or break show for me with so many matches. Last PPV had my record at 70-66, so we'll see how well I do with this card. I'm taking John Cena & Shawn Michaels; Bobby Lashley; Deuce & Domino; Gregory Helms; King Booker; Chris Benoit, Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy; Jillian (subject to change); and Finlay & Little Bastard. Now one last thing, Gregory Helms SHOULD have dropped the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. At least that's my opinion. Unfortunantly, he was in the Royal Rumble Match, so the title wasn't on the line. I'm hoping he loses it tonight (no offense, Gregory, I think you're awesome) and lets somebody else get their time in the spotlight. However, I just don't see that happening tonight.

I think I'll use the left, the left, the left

February. If you're a sports nut like me, this month is torture. Nothing happening. You're stuck between the Super Bowl and the beginning of spring training. That's why Sports Illustrated gave their readers something to look forward to. That's right, boys and Jen, the Swimsuit Issue is back. And look who's on the cover. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/features/2007_swimsuit/beyonce/

Will somebody please think of the children?

I'm not exactly what you'd call a tabloid reader. Granted, I am an active member of the CSSA boards. However, these last three days have disgusted me. Does anybody really give at rat's ass about Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Daniellynn (sp?), or is everybody just seeing dollar signs? As unfortunate as Anna Nicole's death is (I wasn't a fan of hers by any means, but you can't help but feel bad for the family and true friends who lost a loved one), that baby is scarred for life. Her sleazebag attorney is fighting for the kid. That photographer is filing for custody. Now Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband is entering the fray? Where the hell is that puke bucket? Yes, Daniellynn will have some considerable bank account drainage depending on the Trimspa lawsuits, but these men want the baby for one reason. Money. That kid unfortunantley has millions of dollars attached to her name. That's why everybody wants her. She probably won't be able to see a dime by the time she is 18, and that's probably all she'll see at that point. It's disgusting. That child is five months old and is already f'ed up. What have we as a society turned into?
