The Hero: Hunter Mahan. Rookie halved both his matches Saturday, and has won three points for the U.S. in his four matches.
The Goat: Robert Karlsson. 6-foot-5 Swede netted only a half-point in his two matches, and missed an eagle putt on No. 18 that would have won Europe a full point in the afternoon.

From the Notre Dame vs. Michigan State game

The Hero: Javon Ringer. MSU's star running back gained 201 yards on 39 carries and scored the final TD of the game to secure the victory.
The Goat: Jimmy Clausen. Notre Dame's quaterback was 24-for-41 for 242 yards, but threw two interceptions and was sacked three times.
