"CSI: NY" The fifth season begins with Mac being taken hostage by a bank robber and then waking up in a submerged car with no memory of how he got there. The investigation seeks to unravel the truth behind the bizarre heist and the mysterious man at its center. Wednesday at 10 on CBS.

"Lipstick Jungle" Nico considers telling Charles about her affair in the second-season premiere. Meanwhile, Wendy's mother (Mary Tyler Moore) visits the family just as Wendy decides to spend more time at home; and Victory hires a publicist (Rosie Perez) and dodges Joe's attempts to win her back. Wednesday at 10 on NBC.

"Ugly Betty" In the third-season premiere, Betty is finally ready to make a life-altering decision after fielding proposals from Gio and Henry. Meanwhile, Ignacio gets a new job at a fast-food restaurant, and Daniel deals with the fallout of Wilhelmina's power play. Lindsay Lohan guest stars as Kimberly, Betty's high-school nemesis.
