Did they finally find Hoffa?

Very possible. The FBI just stopped heavy-duty digging at the site of the barn they tore down yesterday, started dowing light digging with shovels and other such equipment, brought out cadavar dogs, and put up the crime tape. Now we've all heard the rumors of where Jimmy Hoffa, the vanished ex-Teamsters President, could be. I've heard them all. My favorite being he's in K9 Unit training field in Buffalo. No wait, that's "Bruce Almighty." Anyways, it looks like he's hidden under the barn torn down yesterday at the Hidden Dreams Farm in Milford Township. Just imagine it, guys. Thirty-one years, and no sign of Hoffa. One can only hope for the family's sake that this is Hoffa's body, and maybe that will finally lead to his killer. One can only hope.

Tuesday, May 02, 2006

It's the .500 I didn't want.

After going 1-7 in auto racing predictions and losing my beloved Red Wings *Nancy Kerrigan*Why?*Nancy Kerrigan*, I was determined to rebound with my WWE predictions. Crapola, again, only 3-3. John Cena, Rob Van Dam, and Carlito were my saving graces. PS I tossed the Kane vs. Big Show match due to the no contest, thus my record still sucks at 26-28.

WWE Backlash Card and Picks (Sorry they're late, but this is what I had)

WWE Chapionship Triple Threat Match: John Cena (c) vs. Edge vs. Triple H

Tag Team Match: Shawn Michaels and God vs. Mr. McMahon and Shane McMahon

Winner Take All Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and Money in the Bank: Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Rob Van Dam (MITB)

One on One Match: Kane vs. Big Show

WWE Women's Championship: Mickie James (c) vs. Trish Stratus

One on One Match: Carlito vs. Chris Masters

One on One Match: Ric Flair vs. Umaga

23-25 after WrestleMania, major improvement, now let's crack .500, shall we? I'll take John Cena, Shawn Michaels & God, Rob Van Dam, Kane, Trish Stratus, Carlito, and Ric Flair.
