Survivor Series Picks & Pans

Party up in this bitch! Hell yeah! I went 5-2 for my Survivor Series picks. Thank you very much to CM Puink, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Shawn Michaels & Triple H; John Cena, Kane, Lashley, Rob Van Dam & Sabu; Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Ron Simmons & Sgt. Slaughter; Chris Benoit; and Ken Kennedy. King Booker, Lita, thanks for nothing. So my record now stands at 60-56. Oh may the good times keep rolling at December to Dismember. A few observations I made from the Emagine Theater in Novi where we saw the show on a 20-foot tall screen. When CM Punk was hit with the RKO, everyone was shocked. When HBK broke up the pin, the room erupted, because everybody know you don't kick out of the RKO. So when Team DX picked up the clean sweep, me and my friends already made CM Punk the MVP (not Montel Vontavious Porter) of Survivor Series. He looked awesome and had the crowd in the palm of his hand. I'm not making it official, but I think CM Punk, Lashley or Rob Van Dam will walk out of Augusta the ECW World Championship. Punk made a great case for his undefeated streak to continue. Also, in case you haven't seen it on the Internet yet, I defintley sensed it in the theater. Lita's departure was uncalled for. Yes, she screwed up her relationship with Matt. But she had the guts to ask for forgiveness (they're friends now) while Edge hasn't worked up the backbone to apologize. Professionally, she's a four-time WWE Women's Championship, and all she accomplished, well, you can let her promo from RAW on Monday speak for all that she did for women's wrestling. But the Ho Sale was in total lack of taste and Lita deserved to go out better then that. If she didn't have a role in this, I wouldn't be surprised she gives the WWE a big FU (not Cena's finisher) and go to TNA. Maybe I'm wrong, and I sure hope I am. I say the best way to make up for this would be to induct Lita into the WWE Hall of Fame with Trish Stratus together, hopefully within the next five years. Fortunatley, after Lita was done, my friends joined a few fans in the fans in the arena who chanted, "THANK YOU, LITA!" About half the room joined us. The rest must have thought we were crazy or just didn't like Lita. Finally, we have a three way tie for Match of the Night. The winners are Batista vs. King Booker; the Big Show, Finlay, Montel Vontavious Porter, Test & Umaga vs. John Cena, Kane, Lashley, Rob Van Dam & Sabu; and CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Edge, Gregory Helms, Johnny Nitro, Mike Knox & Randy Orton.

Cyber Sunday party

Alright! I'm above .500 again as I went 5-2 following Cyber Sunday, improving my record to 55-54. Hey Butch, am I still raising the terror level? The fact is though, why did one of my loses have to come at the hands of that piece of trailer trash we know and hate as Kevin Federline? By the way, I've decided to put together a new PPV tradation. It's the Match of the Night. After reviewing PPV DVDs from the past year, here's what I'd call Match of the Night since August.

Great American Bash: King Booker vs. Rey Mysterio
Summerslam: Edge vs. John Cena
Unforgiven: Edge vs. John Cena
No Mercy: Batista vs. Finlay vs. King Booker vs. Lashley

For Cyber Sunday, my Match of the Night is Edge and Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
