313's Heroes and Goats

From the Iowa vs. Michigan State game

The Hero: Adam Decker. The MSU middle linebacker made the stop that sealed the Spartans' 16-13 victory over Iowa, knocking Iowa RB Shonn Greene back for a loss on 4th-and-inches at MSU's 21 with 2:10 left in the game.
The Goat: Ricky Stanzi. The Iowa QB had three turnovers in the first half -- two fumbles and an interception -- which MSU converted into six points.

From the Illinois vs. Michigan game

The Hero: Juice Williams. The Illinois junior threw for 310 yards, the second-highest total of his career and most ever against a Big Ten school. He set a Michigan Stadium record with 431 yards of total offense, rushed for two touchdowns and threw touchdown passes of 57 and 77 yards.
The Goat: Michigan's defense. The Wolverines had only allowed one touchdown in the second half this season before giving up four to Illinois on Saturday. Missed tackles and mental mistakes helped contribute to a subpar performance.
