313's Heroes and Goats

From the Wisconsin vs. Michigan State game

The Hero: Javon Ringer. On senior day, the senior captain gained 121 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries to lead the Spartans to a 21-7 win. Ringer passed Tico Duckett for second place in MSU's all-time record book for rushing yardage.
The Goat: Purdue's offense. A week after a high-scoring win against Michigan, the Boilermakers could only muster 191 yards against MSU.

From the Michigan vs. Minnesota game

The Hero: Michigan defense. After being dominated in an all-time horrific performance against a terrible offense a week ago at Purdue, the Wolverines produced their best performance of the season, holding Minnesota to 188 yards and no touchdowns. They were physical, aggressive and efficient.
The Goat: Minnesota offense. Without star receiver Eric Decker, who started the game with a bad ankle and never got going, spending the second half in street clothes, the Gophers didn't have much of a chance. Quarterback Adam Weber looked lost and finished with just 105 yards passing, 134 below his average.
