313's Heroes and Goats

From the Indiana vs. Michigan State game

The Hero: Draymond Green. The MSU freshman -- the team's 10th man -- outrebounded everyone on the floor and outscored all but teammate Chris Allen, recording his first double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
The Goat: Devan Dumes. Normally Indiana's leading scorer (averaging 13.8 points), the junior had five points and five turnovers before fouling out.

From the Michigan vs. Conneecticut game

The Hero: Hasheem Thabeet. With 17 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks, Connecticut's 7-foot-3 center impacted the game at both ends. Michigan tried to alter its shots to avoid him and shifted its defense to compensate for him.
The Goat: Michigan's depth. While Manny Harris and Stu Douglass continued pushing in the final 10 minutes, they received little offensive help, while the Huskies kept running the floor and throwing talented bodies to hold off U-M. If not for the pair's four three-pointers down the stretch, it would have been a blowout.
