313's Heroes and Goats

From the Mercury vs. Shock game

The Hero: Penny Taylor. The Aussie forward put up 30 points, including 18 in the first half. Taylor was 6-for-11 from the floor and hit all 18 free-throw attempts.
The Goat: Plenette Pierson. The Shock's fiery super-sub couldn't seem to get things going Sunday, scoring only four points in 22 minutes before fouling out in the fourth quarter.

From the Vikings vs. Lions game

The Hero: Jon Kitna. A gutsy performance, coming off the bench and reviving a floundering Lions offense. No wonder Marinelli loves this guy.
The Goat: Tarvaris Jackson. Hate to do it to the kid, but -- he's still a starting quaterback in the NFL, and they aren't supposed to throw four interceptions.

My time's up, you've been great. For the road: Nelly Furtado "Do It"
