The Heroes: Vijay Singh. Singh's win in the Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday opens up a shot for an alternate, since Singh had already qualified. That's gotta make him somebody's hero, right?

The Goat: Phil Mickelson. After opening the Bridgestone's final round bogey-free through the first 14 holes to build a one-shot lead, Lefty threw it away by making three bogeys on the final four holes.
