313's Heroes and Goats

From the Jaguars vs. Lions game

The Hero: David Gerrard. Maurice Jones-Drew may have had three TDs, but it was the precision passing of Gerrard (18-for-25 with completions to nine receivers) that moved the team down the field.
The Goats: Lions defense. Then again, the Lions' inability to stop the run or defend the pass probably aided the Jags' offense, especially on third and fourth down (six conversions in 11 tries).

From the Celtics vs. Pistons game

The Hero: Tony Allen. The Celtics' backup shooting guard scored 23 points, including 12 of Boston's 30 points in the second quarter.
The Goat: Rip Hamilton. A.I.'s 4-for-11 shooting was bad, and 'Sheed's 4-for-17 was worse, but Rip takes the cake, scoring three points and missing all eight of his field-goal attempts.
